Preliminary hearing scheduled for pair charged in Red Deer drug trafficking investigation
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for two people charged in a Red Deer drug trafficking investigation.
Tristyn Rawlins, 25, and Simon Emmerson Williamson, 23, both of Red Deer, are scheduled to find out in Red Deer Court of Justice on July 26, 2024, if their case has enough evidence to go to trial.
RCMP say that in September of last year, a lengthy investigation began. On Nov. 2, 2023, a search warrant was executed at a home in the Lancaster neighbourhood.
The search led to police finding various controlled substances in varying quantities, plus firearms, weapons and other property related to the production and sale of controlled substances, they say.
