Lacombe man arrested in Sherwood Park

A Lacombe man has been charged in relation to a break and enter which allegedly took place in Sherwood Park.

RCMP in that community, say it was about 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 when they received a report of a possible break and enter at a home in the Clarkdale Meadows area of Sherwood Park.

RCMP say the complainant provided a description to police of a male suspect he believed was breaking into a neighbour’s residence.

RCMP then responded and located a male matching the same description exiting the garage with several items. The male suspect allegedly fled on foot but was subsequently arrested a short time later.

Andrew Renaud, 32, a resident of Lacombe, was charged with:

  • Break and Enter to a residence
  • Resisting Arrest

Andrew Renaud was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in in Sherwood Park Provincial Court on Sept. 27, 2023.
