Applications Open for 2021 MEGlobal Community Contributions Program

Up to $5,000 in funding is available for qualifying non-profit groups with projects that improve the quality of life in communities near MEGlobal Canada’s Prentiss or Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta manufacturing sites through the 2021 MEGlobal Canada Community Contributions Program.

“MEGlobal’s commitment to our communities is a big part of our culture and we are proud to offer a program that supports organizations that are also committed to making our communities even better places to live, work and grow,” said Trish Thompson, MEGlobal Public Affairs Manager.

Selections will be made by a committee of MEGlobal employees and will be announced in July.

In order to apply for the MEGlobal Canada Community Contributions Program, organizations must:

  • Have charitable or tax-exempt status as a qualified municipal or non-profit organization in Fort Saskatchewan or Prentiss, Alberta regions
  • Provide a budget detailing how the funds will be used
  • Complete the project within one year of funding being received
  • Demonstrate how the project positively affects at least one of the following key areas: Education, Environment, Economy, Community and Health and Safety.
  • Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, June 30 at 11:59 p.m.

Only online applications will be accepted.
