Rebels grads Anders, Douglas commit to UBC

Two former Red Deer Rebels players have signed on to play U-Sports hockey next season.
Goaltender Ethan Anders and forward Chris Douglas have both committed to attend the University of British Columbia (UBC) and play for the Thunderbirds.
Douglas, a native of Richmond, B.C., played his entire WHL career with the Rebels, suiting up for 250 regular season games and collecting 98 points.
Anders, from Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan, played in 146 games over four seasons with the Rebels and had a 3.37 goals-against average and .898 save percentage with four shutouts.
