Dr. Hinshaw shares COVID-19 update for April 15

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health and officials are set to provide the latest update on COVID-19 in the province.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw is slated to speak at a news conference scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. You can watch it live below once it begins.

Today’s update comes one day after it was announced that public and Catholic students in Calgary in grades 7-12 are to move to at-home learning starting Monday. Education Minister Adriana LaGrange said the change is due to COVID-19 cases and will last for two weeks.

Also on Wednesday, Alberta delivered its one-millionth dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
