Chinook’s Edge students excel at Provincial Skills Canada Competition

An extensive group of students from Chinook’s Edge School Division showcased their talents at the recent Provincial Skills Canada Competition.

Each spring, nearly 700 students from across Alberta gather to test their mettle at the province’s largest career exploration event.

Competitors go head-to-head in 45 trade and technology disciplines, measured against rigorous industry standards, the school division notes.

Top performers earn the title of best in Alberta in their field and the chance to represent Team Alberta at the 2026 Skills Canada National Competition in Toronto.
