Red Deer’s active COVID cases drop modestly to 535
Red Deer’s active COVID-19 case count has taken another small drop to 535 as of Feb. 26, down 16 from Friday.
There have been 2,211 recoveries, an increase of 37 as the total number of cases attributed to Red Deer rose by 22 to a total of 2,771.
The number of deaths in Red Deer linked to COVID-19 is now 25, up one from Friday.
Meantime, Alberta Health has been notified of 500 cases linked to the outbreak at Olymel as of Friday. Of these, 156 are active, 341 recovered and, sadly, there have been three deaths.
