School closures and bus cancellations: Thurs. Jan. 16

Below is the list of bus cancellations and school closures for Thursday, January 16. The list will be updated as more announcements are made.

– Wolf Creek Public Schools is cancelling buses and closing schools for all students (no diploma exams are scheduled)

– All buses operating for Wild Rose School Division are cancelled. Schools are open.

– All Chinook’s Edge School Division buses are cancelled today. Schools are open.

– Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools has cancelled all Red Deer County buses.
Catholic school buses that serve Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake, Olds, Innisfail and Rocky Mountain House are also cancelled. All schools are open.

– School buses operated by Clearview Public Schools will not be in service, but all schools are expected to be open. Where schools are not operating, a message will be sent by the Superintendent or designate confirming this.

– Parkland School buses in Red Deer are not running. The school is open.
