Thunder drop three straight, trade for forward

The Drayton Valley Thunder are in the midst of a tough stretch having lost three games in a row.

The Thunder fell 7-4 to Whitecourt on Saturday, 3-1 to Whitecourt again on Tuesday, and 3-1 Wednesday night to Grande Prairie.

The skid has seen the Thunder fall to 3-6-1 on the season, putting them in seventh place in the AJHL North Division.

The Thunder made a trade on Wednesday as they acquired forward Henry Wagner and future considerations from the Prince George Spruce Kings of the BCHL in exchange for forward Jaxon Steele.
