Rocky Mounties seize drugs at gas station, charge Bentley man with trafficking
Rocky Mountain House RCMP have made arrested a man in connection to an incident this week at a local gas station.
Mounties say they responded on Tuesday around 9 a.m. to a complaint about a suspicious male at the GTI gas bar on Highway 11. Upon arriving, members approached the driver of the truck who immediately attempted to flee.
He was arrested after a brief struggle. A search of the driver revealed he was in possession of a large quantity of cocaine, crack cocaine, meth and fentanyl.
RCMP also seized a large amount of Canadian currency, a weapon and drug trafficking paraphernalia from inside the vehicle.
