CALGARY — A Calgary man in a wheelchair is being called a snow angel for helping his neighbours dig out from a major storm by strapping himself to a snowblower.

Martin Purvis just hooked himself to the self-propelled machine and got down to it, clearing drifts in the cold.

Wearing a red tuque and a big smile Purvis cleaned his own driveway and a few others in his neighbourhood.

He says it took him a few tries to figure out how to attach his wheelchair to the snowblower but finally found the sweet spot.
