Man dies in rollover west of Eckville

A 25-year-old man is dead following a rollover west of Eckville Monday morning.

Rocky Mountain House RCMP and Clearwater County Fire and EMS responded to a single vehicle rollover at about 6:48 a.m.

Police say a truck travelling southbound on Highway 761 was seen to veer off the road to the right, hit an approach and roll. The driver and lone occupant of the truck was ejected and succumbed to injuries received.

A collision analyst attended the scene to conduct an investigation. RCMP will be providing no further details.
