Teen charged with attempted murder in the shooting of German tourist set to appear in court today

COCHRANE- The 16-year-old charged with attempted murder in the shooting of a German tourist is scheduled to appear in court today in Cochrane.

The 60-year-old tourist was driving in a Dodge Durango with his family near Morley, west of Calgary, on August 2nd when the shooting took place.

The youth, who is from the Stoney Nakoda First Nation, faces 14 charges that include attempted murder and possession of a prohibited firearm.
