CASASC hosting Respect Day BBQ at City Hall Park
Residents are being encouraged to bring their appetite, dancing shoes and respect for others during the Annual Respect Day BBQ celebrations being held at Red Deer City Hall Park on May 25.
The awareness event is being hosted by the Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre (CASASC) which is marking Respect Day in Red Deer with a celebration encouraging a culture of respect in our day-to-day lives in central Alberta.
There will be Latin flavoured music by Grupo Konga, dancing, information booths and a by-donation barbeque.
Officials with CASASC hope that if more people respect each other, the less harm they will do to each other and hopefully lead to the elimination of violence and sexual violence.
