Quad rollover east of Bowden claims one

A quad rollover Sunday night east of Bowden claimed the life of a 62-year-old man.

Olds RCMP say the crash happened at around 7 p.m. on a private property.

It was determined that the driver was operating the quad in a wooded area of his rural property when it rolled on small embankment.  The driver became trapped under the quad and died of his injuries.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

Police say no further details will be released.
