Guns, ammo, drugs seized in Drumheller traffic stop

Charges have been laid after Mounties seized firearms, ammunition and drugs near Drumheller. 

The items were seized during a traffic stop on Tuesday. Both occupants of the vehicle were arrested for possession of a prohibited weapon and a more thorough search uncovered a semi-automatic pistol, a shot gun, ammunition and drugs.

Victor Charles Foley, 33, of Big Valley and Jaime Nichole Ryan, 34, of Drumheller are facing eight charges in relation to the weapons and two drug charges.

Foley is facing an additionial traffic charge for driving while suspended and Ryan an additional charge for failing to comply with release conditions.
