Registering online to vote in the provincial election

With the April 16 provincial election quickly approaching, officials say residents should consider pre-registering to make things a bit easier on voting day.

Drew Westwater from Elections Alberta confirms registering online to vote isn’t required, but it does speed up the voting process.

He adds they are still finalizing locations for voting, but once they are completed they will be posted on the Elections Alberta website.

In order to vote you will need to be able to provide an Alberta Drivers Licence or Alberta identification Card.
