Earlier this year, Alberta’s government conducted an open competition seeking qualified organizations to provide coordinated outpatient and online gambling treatment and recovery services.

Brick House Recovery Centre is the first organization to receive funding, and additional recipients will be selected later this fall.

• The investment in Brick House Recovery Centre is supported through social responsibility funding associated with Alberta’s regulated iGaming market, with one per cent of gross gaming revenue dedicated to fund addiction treatment.
• Albertans seeking support can call, text or chat with 211 Alberta, which provides 24-7 assistance and can connect individuals and families with Brick House Recovery Centre for gambling treatment and recovery services, as well as other mental health, addiction and community supports available throughout the province.
