Andersen restored the Rebels’ lead 51 seconds into the second period, followed by an insurance goal from Patrick Sopiarz less than 20 seconds later.

Kuzma then sealed the deal with a goal midway through the third period to give the Rebels the win.

Kuzma and Andersen each finished the game with a goal and an assist; meanwhile, goaltenders Nathan Salisbury and Peyton Shore split the duties in between the pipes.

Salisbury made seven saves on eight shots, and Shore had a 10-save shutout.

Next up, the Rebels will conclude preseason play on Friday at 7 p.m. against the Edmonton Oil Kings at the Centrium.
