Ohanes was known to frequent Red Deer, Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake, Penhold, and Innisfail.

Originally from Montreal, he moved to Alberta for employment in May 2005.

He is described as five feet nine inches tall and 161 pounds with a bald or shaved head or black hair, brown eyes, and a medium complexion. He also has a slender build.

“Innisfail RCMP are looking for any tips or information that may help further this historical missing person case,” the RCMP stated in a release. “This missing person case has remained active since 2007, and our investigators are urging anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward so we can work toward locating Ohanes Melkon.”
