Upcoming rides:

July 26 — Fancy Women Bike Ride — Collicutt to McKenzie Trails (picnic to follow)

• This midsummer ride celebrates leisure, connection, and the simple pleasure of riding together on a warm afternoon. Beginning at noon at the Collicutt Centre, participants will enjoy a relaxed ride to McKenzie Park, where the group will gather for an informal picnic.
• This ride is designed to feel unhurried and welcoming, making it ideal for newer riders or those returning to cycling. Riders are encouraged to bring a blanket, snacks, or a book to enjoy once they arrive.
• Suggested dress code: “Casually fancy” summer style—flowy tops, light dresses, wide-leg pants, straw hats, vintage touches, or picnic-ready outfits. Breathable fabrics and comfortable footwear recommended.

Sept. 6 — Fancy Women Teed Ride & Tea — Collicutt Centre to Dawe Centre

• The season concludes with a beloved Fancy Women tradition: the Tweed Ride & Tea. Starting at noon at the Collicutt Centre, riders will cycle together to the Dawe Branch for a proper sit-down afternoon tea, celebrating the end of summer and the friendships built along the way.
• This ride blends gentle movement with vintage charm, inviting participants to slow down, dress up, and savour the experience. Tea, conversation, and a welcoming atmosphere are central to this final gathering.
• Suggested dress code: Tweed, vintage, or heritage-inspired attire—vests, blazers, skirts, scarves, caps, bow ties, and classic accessories. Think cozy elegance and old-world cycling charm, adapted for comfort and safety.

And in case you’re wondering, while the rides are geared toward women, men are welcome.

The rides also offer mechanic checks from RDABC before setting off.
