Update: Red Deer RCMP respond to incident on Cole Street

Update at 9:49 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4: Red Deer RCMP report that the suspect has been arrested and the heavy police presence is over.

Additional details of the arrest will be released once charges are sworn.

Red Deer RCMP report they are currently on the scene of a police incident on Cole Street.

Mounties say the incident is currently contained and there is no ongoing risk to the public.
