Four Maskwacis residents dead following head-on collision on Highway 2A

Four individuals have died following a serious head-on collision on Highway 2A near Township Road 434 that occurred over the weekend.

At 10:53 p.m. on May 3, Ponoka RCMP received a report of a serious two-vehicle collision on Highway 2A.

Upon arrival, emergency responders found a GMC Acadia with a lone 41-year-old female occupant, who was deceased.

In the other vehicle, a Volkswagen Tiguan, responders found a deceased 26-year-old male and 14-year-old male. A third 14-year-old female occupant was taken to hospital by STARS, however died of their injuries.
