Red Deerian secures $100,000 in January KENO draw

Red Deer resident Serena O. is now $100,000 richer after purchasing a winning KENO ticket on Jan. 10.

According to lottery officials, Serena loved to play KENO on her paydays and her efforts have paid off.

“I knew I’d won something, but I was not sure how much,” she laughed. “I had to keep checking my ticket on the app!”

When it finally sunk in that she had won big, lottery officials say she was overjoyed, and cried and called her husband.
