The Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team arrested three residents on Feb. 12, following a drug trafficking investigation.
This came after police executed search warrants at businesses in the downtown and South Hill neighbourhoods and at a residence in the Highland Green neighbourhood.
Mounties say they seized over $55,000 in Canadian currency, 1.1 kilograms of cocaine, 1.3 kilograms of methamphetamine, six grams of fentanyl, and 51 oxycodone tablets.
Police say they also seized items used in the trafficking of controlled substances and in addition, seized more than 6,000 unstamped cigarettes, ammunition, a handgun, two shotguns, and four rifles.
