Sylvan Lake council appoints returning officer for municipal election

The Town of Sylvan Lake’s council has appointed Mandi Wisheu as returning officer and Jolene Reynolds as substitute returning officer for the 2025 Municipal Election.
Wisheu works in the Wellness and Community Connections department and has served as a returning officer for the Town in past municipal elections and a recent by-election.
The town’s administration says the appointments align with council’s strategic direction to deliver fiscally responsible stewardship.
The appointments went into effect on Jan. 27.
