Join us on September 18, 2024, as we come together to raise funds and awareness for gender-based and domestic violence issues in our community. By walking one mile in high-heeled shoes, or your footwear of choice, we symbolically step into the experiences of those affected by domestic violence.

Funds raised through Walk a Mile in HER Shoes® Red Deer allows The Outreach Centre to provide supports, advocacy and services to individuals and families experiencing violence. From safety and transitional living to counselling and safety planning, we provide life-changing and lifesaving supports to survivors.

This event not only raises much-needed funds for The Outreach Centre, but it also raises awareness of the issue of gender-based and domestic violence in our city and surrounding communities.
