McKinlay the top Canadian at World Amateur Team Championships in Abu Dhabi

Lacombe’s Brady McKinlay and his Team Canada mates finished tied-17th this week at the 2023 World Amateur Team Championships in Abu Dhabi.

The foursome moved up six spots on the final day thanks in large part to a standout performance by McKinlay.

In the final round, the 22-year-old fired seven birdies, brought down somewhat by four bogeys to finished with a three-under 69.

Teammate Ashton McCulloch of Kingston, ON shot a two-under final round of 70.
