Fire Restriction lifted for Red Deer County

Jun 2, 2023 | 2:45 PM

As of 9:00 a.m. on June 2, 2023, the fire restriction for Red Deer County has been lifted.

Permits are now available online at rdcounty.ca/fire. County officials encourage residents to set-up your account to obtain a burn permit. A reminder, however, that a fire permit is required for all open fires year-round, except for safe acceptable residential fire pits* within Red Deer County.

County officials say Fire Services will continue to monitor weather patterns- should dry weather conditions return, another fire restriction may be put in place.

For additional information on fire permits, please visit rdcounty.ca/fire or call fire County Fire Administration at 403.343.6667
