Public information session on Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre redevelopment project

Alberta’s Minister of Infrastructure, the Honourable Nathan Neudorf, is encouraging central Albertans to attend a public information session next week aimed at providing an update on the Red Deer Regional Hospital redevelopment project.

Organizers say the Government of Alberta recognizes that the Red Deer Regional Hospital is one of the busiest hospitals in Alberta and the redevelopment and expansion of the hospital is fundamental in helping address health care needs for central Albertans.

Officials say the government is working to plan, design and build the expansion – one that is expected to meet the needs of the community and region – as quickly and as safely as possible.

As part of the drop-in session, representatives from Alberta Infrastructure and Alberta Health Services will be on site to provide an overview of the status of the Red Deer Regional Hospital redevelopment project and answer questions.

Information materials will be available for viewing and refreshments and snacks will be provided.
