Six Red Deer Polytechnic teams ready to compete in 2021/2022 season

With the cancellation of Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) competition last year for the health and safety of the student-athletes, coaches, and athletics staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, members of six Red Deer Polytechnic teams are enthusiastic and prepared to kick off the 2021/2022 regular season.

The following teams will be in action on November 12:

• The Red Deer Polytechnic Kings Basketball team will host the Lethbridge College Kodiaks at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre at 6 pm.

• In Lethbridge, the Kings Volleyball team will challenge the Kodiaks at 6 pm.
• The Red Deer Polytechnic Kings Hockey team will play the visiting Briercrest College Clippers at 7 pm.
• The Queens Hockey team will face the NAIT Ooks in Edmonton at 7 pm.
• The Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Basketball team will compete against the Lethbridge College Kodiaks at home at 8 pm.
• On the road, the Queens Volleyball team will clash with the Kodiaks in Lethbridge at 8 pm.
