RCMP investigating attempted theft and hit & run in Penhold

Innisfail RCMP are seeking information related to an attempted car break-in and subsequent hit and run this week.

The incident is said to have occurred May 21 just before 6 a.m. at the Penhold Estates Trailer Park.

RCMP say the victim described observing two males attempting to break into his vehicle. When the victim approached the males, they ran to a different vehicle and fled the scene.

In the process, the suspect vehicle struck the victim causing minor injuries.

There are few available details on the suspects, though the vehicle is tentatively described as a two-door brown sedan.

Police are asking anyone who has any knowledge of this offence or who has video surveillance in the area to call the Innisfail RCMP.
