Cooking classes for 18+ available through CMHA
The Red Deer branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is offering culinary classes through its Recovery College program.
According to the organization, Culinary Connections is a free, hands-on cooking program.
Workshops provide adults with an opportunity to develop practical cooking skills, build confidence in the kitchen, connect with others, and enjoy a meal together in a welcoming and supportive environment, they say.
Each week, the branch notes, participants will prepare a different meal while learning practical skills and building meaningful community connections.
