Following Alberta’s new COVID-19 restrictions announced on May 4, the Town of Rocky Mountain House is adjusting its operations in order to comply.

As of Thursday, May 5, masks are mandatory in indoor public places, including all Town facilities.

The Christensen Sports and Wellness Centre along with the Public Works Shop and Fitness Centre are closed.

The FCSS will remain open, but by appointment only.

The Credit Union Co-op Aquatic Centre will be closing its newly opened doors from May 9 until at least May 24. Anyone that had any form of booking up until May 8 will still be able to attend.

Those will take effect along with all province wide restrictions including no in-person dining and patios, that will take effect on 11:59 p.m. Sunday.

The Town of Rocky has stated that as of this time, all outdoor parks and trails will remain open. They ask that you stay distant from other households and wash or sanitize your hands.
