April 29

12:26 p.m. – Brazeau County – Request for a wellbeing check. Police attended, no concerns noted.

12:32 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Sheathing for copper wire located behind a business, nobody seen in the area.

4:03 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Report of an unconscious person. When police arrived, they located the person who said they were just resting, declined medical assessment.

4:12 p.m. – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Driving complaint. Police located the vehicle; the driver admitted to cutting someone off accidentally, driver was sober.

7:08 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Econorest – Request for RCMP to assist with recovering belongings after the complainant was evicted. Complainant wants to move the items on Sunday and his conditions require that the RCMP attend to keep the peace.

8:01 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 avenue – Report that someone tried to run over the complainant with a motor bike. Patrols made, mystery man on the motorbike was not located.

9:38 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 56 street – Report of a child custody issue. Member spoke to complainant and learned that the order is not police enforceable. Complainant will speak to her lawyer for assistance.

9:30 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 53 street – Report of an intoxicated male in a parking lot yelling at the building. Members attended the location and spoke to both parties. No offence.

April 30

7:29 a.m. – Parkland County – Request for a wellbeing check, complainants worried about a friend that was showing signs of depression. Members located subject of complaint and determined that he was not going to harm himself.

9:36 a.m. – Brazeau County – Twp 504 – Report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. Complainant advised that there was a native female parked in the driveway. Complainant talked to the female and she asked if she could hunt elk on their land. Complainant told her no and the female left with no incident.

10:28 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Report of uttering threats. Complainant is on conditions to have no contact with ex-wife but has been receiving threating messages from her. Complainant wants RCMP members to listen to the messages. Members awaiting statement from complainant. Matter is still under investigation.

1:14 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Meier Avenue – Report of a possible trespasser in the complainant’s yard. Members attended the location and found the complainants ex-girlfriend. No criminal offence occurred. The ex-girlfriend just wanted to talk to her and try to reconcile.

1:20 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 street – Report of mischief to property. Complainant is reporting that there is damage to their garage door and the BBQ has been tipped over.

4:04 p.m. – Brazeau County – Twp 494 – Commercial alarm, one hit side door and one hit motion. Alarm cancelled by key holder prior to member attendance..

4:30 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Power Centre Blvd – Report of an assault with a weapon. Complainant reporting that family member had stabbed them with a knife while they were in the car at Wal-Mart. Members attended the location, minor injuries to complainant. Statements taken from witnesses. Female charged and released with court date.

5:09 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of a disturbance at the Dollar Tree. Two males in the store that appear to be high on drugs. Member attended location and spoke to one of the males who advised that he had not done anything wrong. Member spoke to store clerk and was advised that they just did not want the males in the store.

10:47 p.m. – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Complaint of a woman sitting on a guardrail along the highway. Members attended, but nobody was located in the area.

May 1

12:03 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Suspicious vehicle near a gas station. The vehicle appeared to be getting ready to leave as the caller was reporting it. Members attended, the vehicle was no longer there.

1:44 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of a vehicle with no plate in the drive-thru at McDonalds. Police located the vehicle near the Omniplex, the vehicle was registered but the plate was not put on the vehicle.

11:24 a.m. – Brazeau County – RR 93 – Quad rollover, police attended with Emergency Medical Services and the Fire Department, the driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Edmonton for treatment.

1:04 p.m. – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Report of a female walking along the highway. Police attended and located the female; she was walking to the O’Chiese. Police provided her a ride to the O’Chiese truck stop.

1:06 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Police were called to a domestic dispute. No criminal allegations made, police kept the peace and parties were separated.

1:46 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of damage done to a motorcycle as someone threw a pop can at it while it was being ridden. Suspect identified investigation ongoing.

2:15 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – ATV jack abandoned on a lawn. Police collected the property, nothing similar has been reported stolen.

7:46 p.m. – Brazeau County – Hwy 621 – Driving complaint, driver in a grey sedan is swerving from shoulder to shoulder, heading towards Cynthia, police attended the area, the vehicle was not located.

May 2

10:00 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Complainant requesting members attend to assist in gathering their belongings. Member attended to keep the peace as requested.

10:12 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant calling to report a hit and run to a parked vehicle. Member attended, driver of vehicle suffering a medical episode, EMS attended and transported to hospital.

7:22 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting a hit and run. Small black Hatchback hit the back end of the complainants vehicle and took off eastbound. Complainants vehicle is a white Pontiac Sunfire which suffered bumper damage. Matter is still under investigation.

8:20 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting they found a bag with a white substance in the bathroom. Members attended and seized the baggie.

8:37 p.m. – Brazeau county – Hwy 759 – Complainant reporting a abandoned trailer near the bushes. While there, the complainant advised that a male attended in an old green truck. By the time member attended, trailer was gone.

8:45 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting vandalism to vehicle overnight. Back window of their White Ford Edge was broken and purse stolen. Matter is still under investigation.

May 3

1:31 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant requesting patrols in area of Best Western as there are vehicles hanging around the parking lot. Member attended and conducted vehicle stop with one of the suspicious vehicles. Driver is a guest at the hotel, same confirmed.

9:12 a.m. – Brazeau county – RR 80 – Complainant reporting they were driving southbound on RR 80 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.

10:19 a.m. – Tomahawk – Complainant requesting assistance as they are breaking up with their partner.

10:38 a.m. – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a grey Ford Super duty passed the fire truck which had lights and sirens going. Matter is still under investigation, charges pending.

11:45 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complainant calling to report that their relationship is breaking up and ex has taken keys to vehicle. Member advised civil matter and property needs to be split by courts as common law relationship.

12:08 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check. Members attended and located female in medical distress. EMS called to assist.

3:29 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Power Centre Blvd – Complainant reporting a shoplifter. Male stole a printer and toothbrushes. Matter is still under investigation.

9:44 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 55 Street – Complainant calling to request a check on sibling.

11:35 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Request members conduct patrols in area.

May 4

12:39 am – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant reporting two individuals attempting to break into vehicles. Members attended and located owner of property who advised there was no break in, or theft. Son was retrieving item.

8:33 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Complainant reporting their vehicle had been broken into. Vehicle is a silver mini van, back window had been broken and the vehicle had been gone through.

9:30 a.m. –Drayton Valley – 56 Avenue – Complainant reporting debris from wire stripping had been dumped in the middle of the road.. Member attended and contacted the town.

10:10 a.m. – Cynthia – Complainant reporting break and enter to two lease sites. Locks on the gates were cut and copper wire stolen.

10:21 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting theft of their2020 Acura. Theft occurred at approximately 1 a.m. Vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys inside. Vehicle recovered shortly after.

10:38 a.m. – Break and enter to gas plant reporting. Entry made by cutting the lock on the fence.

11:45 a.m. – Brazeau County – RR 73 – Complainant reporting they located a bike in the grass off the Ring Road. Member attended and seized the bike.

12:06 p.m. – Brazeau county – RR 75 – Ongoing issue between neighbours and harassment.

1:44 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Complainant reporting a possible break and enter in progress. Suspicious persons looking into a garage and possibly stealing a vehicle. Member attended and garage door closed. Patrols made, vehicle owner returned in vehicle and advised that they had given permission to a friend to attend and take bags of bottles. No theft occurred.

2:01 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Wal Mart – Complainant reporting a hit and run to their 2014 Grey Toyota Rav4 while parked in the parking lot.

2:59 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant reporting someone rummaged through their vehicle sometime overnight. Wallet stolen with Drivers licence and credit cards. Also taken was a pair of binoculars, keys, headlamp, knife etc.

3:14 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Wal Mart – Complainant reporting that approximately 15 people are inside the store refusing to wear masks. Members were busy on unrelated file involving a missing elderly person and could not attend at the time.

3:19 p.m. – Lodgepole – Complainant called to report they had located an elderly female wandering on a lease road. Female had been taken to the Inn at Lodgepole. Complainant was concerned as they located the possible vehicle associated with female hung up on lease site. Further investigation revealed a possible whereabouts. Female was located afterwards safe.

5:41 p.m. – Tomahawk – Complainant requesting members conduct a wellbeing check on individual. Members attended and located individual having a medical episode. EMS called and transported to hospital.

10:12 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 62 Street – EMS requesting police assistance. Members attended to assist.

11:03 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious male wandering around in boxers. Members attended area and patrolled, male not located.

May 5

1:01 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 55A Avenue – Complainant reporting a disturbance. Honking heard and then a loud crash. Members attended and located a male and female having an argument. Female had crashed their vehicle into parked truck in driveway. Parties separated for the night.

3:11 a.m. – Brazeau county – RR 73 – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle in area.

1:02 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Request to assist the fire department with a fire involving 2 holiday trailers in a shop yard. Members attended, does not appear to be suspicious at this time.

1:40 p.m. – Brazeau county – RR 73 – Complainant reporting a possible fraud. Complainant advised that they had advertised a generator for sale. Buyer requested that the item be held for a week. Buyer sent a money order for $3750.

2:14 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a warning for failing to obey a traffic control device.

3:59 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting a hit and run to their 2018 Silver Toyota Corolla in the McDonalds parking lot. Member attended. Suspect identified.

6:16 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a male is acting very strangely. Male is pointing a lighter at various things and mumbling random words. Member attended location, male had left. Male located shortly after and arrested for being intoxicated in public. Held until sober, no charges.

6:50 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting known person is attempting to get them to fight. Members could not locate individual.
