Alberta records 41 new COVID-19 cases

Alberta is reporting another 41 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday out of 7,198 test results.

That brings the province’s total number of cases to 8,108.

Another 53 recoveries were reported as that total rose to 7,407.

The number of active cases in the province sits at 547. That’s 12 less than Monday.

No new fatalities were reported as Alberta’s death toll from the novel coronavirus remains 154.

There are 41 Albertans in hospital because of COVID-19. Nine of them are in intensive care.

The number of active cases in the Central Zone remains four and the total number of cases 93.

Two of the active cases are listed in Red Deer, both in the north part of the city, while Olds and Tofield each have one active case.
