June 11

11:27 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reported being passed unsafely and at a high rate of speed. Both parties spoken to in town, no charge as complainant unwilling to return for a possible court date. Warning given.

1:57 pm – Drayton Valley – Various locations – Complainant reported unknown person used her mother’s debit card on May 25. Under investigation.

2:15 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Ave – Complainant reported male walked passed an office and stole flowers planted out front. Complainant yelled at the suspect who then tried to put the marigolds back.

2:59 pm – Drayton Valley – Industrial Rd/52 St – Both drivers attended the detachment to report one rear-ended the other while stopping to make a turn.

3:40 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 St – Complainant reported a black GMC truck travelling north with the windshield completely smashed in. Member made patrols but truck not located.

4:01 pm – Brazeau County – Member attended Willey West Campground to assist with a vehicle on fire. Turned out to be a maintenance golf cart.

4:12 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Ave – Members observed a suspicious truck parked at a residence known to police. Truck left Westbound on 50 Avenue. Member attempted a traffic stop but truck took off, no pursuit initiated. License plate not attached to a vehicle. Under investigation with possible suspect.

5:37 pm – Brazeau County – Domestic related investigation regarding threats and ongoing harassment. Under investigation.

7:41 pm – Rocky Rapids – Complainant reported his brother threatened his uncle during an argument. Neither complainant nor the uncle wished to provide a statement. Under investigation.

8:43 pm – Brazeau County – Twp Rd 492 – Complainant reported a bike with trailer left on business property. Male observed on video walking around, possibly cutting fence. The suspect was located on an adjacent business property and issued a trespassing ticket.

9:55 pm – Parkland County – Member responded to a rural location with an Evansburg member for a wellbeing check on a female youth. Female had called kids helpline but not provided an actual address. The female was determined to be safe.

11:01 pm – Drayton Valley – Hospital – Hangup 911 call received. Determined to have been false.

June 12

6:51 am – Drayton Valley – Mackenzie Ave – Complainant reported a break in to their garage and tools stolen. Entry gained through pet door. Member attended and investigated, possible suspect identified and matter still under investigation.

7:50 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reported a white car with dark tinted windows and damage on the front passenger side speeding and passing into oncoming traffic. Vehicle turned West onto 58 Ave. Member attended and patrolled the area but didn’t locate a matching vehicle.

11:42 am – Brazeau County – RR 73 – Complainant reporting they were renting to an individual who was supposed to move out May 10. Complainant attended yesterday and found the person washing their clothes. Landlord-tenant issue.

11:58 am – Drayton Valley – Mackenzie Avenue – Member on patrol was flagged down by complainant who advised that their vehicle had been rummaged through and some items stolen from their vehicle.

1:55 pm – Brazeau County – Twp 492 – Complainant was travelling on the highway when they struck a deer causing significant damage to the front of their vehicle.

2:18 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting they were backing out of their driveway and did not notice the other vehicle behind them and backed into it.

2:43 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Warning issued for talking on their cell phone while driving.

4:30 pm – Drayton Valley – 56 Street – Complainant reporting their neighbour has been taking their dog from their yard then returning it. Member spoke with the neighbour who advised that there is a hole in the fence and the dog is actually going through the hole.

6:33 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 39 – Complainant reporting a possible intoxicated driver in a silver Dodge Ram. Vehicle is going in and out of the ditch, bumper is falling off. Member patrolled area, however vehicle was not located. Message forwarded to neighbouring detachments.

8:11 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Street – Complainant reporting a blue pickup truck is parked at the end of the road with 3 occupants. Members patrolled area, located the vehicle, no issues.

9:13 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant reporting an unwanted female. Female is breaking things. Female had an argument with another female. Member attended and spoke with complainant. Female had left prior to arrival. Members located female who was arrested for being intoxicated in public and for breaching their conditions. Female was released when they were sober.

9:52 pm – Drayton Valley – Hospital – 911 call from the hospital received. Member attended, no emergency.

10:40 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a white and silver Ford F-150 and a blue Chevrolet truck attempted to box in their vehicle at the high school, then proceeded to follow them. Members located the vehicles and conducted a traffic stop. Drivers of both vehicles stated they weren’t following anyone. Member advised all parties to go home for the night.

10:50 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting known person chased unknown persons from their cabin. Members attended and spoke with all parties.

11:45 pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reporting male who has been banned from the MAT program for 24 hours was refusing to leave. Members attended, male had left prior to arrival.

June 13

12:25 am – Brazeau County – Gravel Pit – Complainant reporting an erratic driver in a white truck. Vehicle is swerving all over the road. Member patrolled the area, vehicle not located.

6:42 am – Brazeau County – RR 92 – Complainant reporting cows on the road, approximately 6 or 7 calves are in the ditch. Member attended, calves returned to owner.

7:10 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting a semi-truck parked near 51 Avenue. Member attended, vehicle was gone upon arrival.

8:40 am – Drayton Valley – 55A Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious male at the bottle depot. Member attended. Male had left, however, had left behind a damaged stroller and some hockey equipment. Member seized hockey equipment.

12:21 pm – Drayton Valley – Valleyview Estates – Complainant reporting a suspicious male in a black truck is driving through the area slowly.

12:31 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting unwanted persons entered the store and were being aggressive with the staff. Males left in a silver Ford F-150. Member attended and spoke to the complainant who advised the males had not been formally banned from the store.

2:07 PM – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting theft from their vehicle while parked at IGA. Unknown person entered their vehicle and stole vehicle parts which were new and in the vehicle. Vehicle parts included brakes, struts, and shocks.

3:56 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 39 – Member on patrol conducted a vehicle stop. Driver issued violation tickets for aftermarket tint and no insurance.

5:35 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Avenue – Third-party complaint received regarding male and female who are living together when on conditions to not be together. Members attempted to locate the individuals without success. Ongoing investigation.

6:43 pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reporting unwanted person at MAT program. Person has been banned for 72 hours after donating burgers and taking too many.

6:54pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a possible impaired driver in a silver Ford Focus. Vehicle is all over the road. Vehicle going eastbound by the North Saskatchewan River. Members patrolled area, vehicle not located. Message sent to neighbouring detachment.

6:59 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – Complainant reporting a verbal dispute which occurred the previous day. Complainant advised that they were yelled at yesterday and they are afraid. Member attended and spoke with complainant. Member to follow up with subject.

7:29 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for driving an uninsured vehicle. A warning issued for no registration.

9:39 pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reporting their white Dodge Caravan had something poured into the gas tank.

10:10 pm – Drayton Valley – Bank of Montreal – Commercial alarm going off. Members attended, all secure. Likely storm triggered issue.

11:13 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop as vehicle was travelling very slowly. Driver had no licence and blew a caution. Vehicle towed.

11:17 pm – Violet Grove – Complainant reporting a breach of no contact. Individual who is on conditions is attempting to gain entry to residence. Members attended and located the subject who was subsequently arrested.

June 14

1:59 am – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – 911 hang up received. Members called back and were advised that they were having a house party and someone accidentally called 911. Members attended and determined there were no issues.

2:18 am – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Complainant reporting a vehicle horn going off for the past 10 minutes. Members attended and located the owner of the vehicle who turned alarm off.

5:16 am – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant calling to request removal of unwanted male who has been banned from MAT program. Members attended and spoke with male who left.

7:02 am – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Another complaint received for removal of male at MAT program. Member attended, patrols made, male not located.

8:21 am – Rocky Rapids – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a warning for failing to use a seatbelt.

12:10 pm – Brazeau County – RR 71 – Complainant reporting several gunshots heard. Members patrolled the area for several minutes, no shots heard.

2:46 pm – Violet Grove – Complainant reporting their ex who was arrested earlier is back. Ex is on conditions of no contact. Members attended, male had left.

6:21 pm – Poplar Ridge Trailer Court – Complainant reporting a verbal dispute. Members attended, nothing physical.

9:58 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 621 – Complainant reporting a black late-model Cadillac is in the ditch. Member attended and located vehicle. Registered Owner contacted who advised they had engine trouble.

10:02 pm – Drayton Valley – 48A Avenue – Complainant reporting excessive noise. Member called complainant who advised the loud music had been turned down.

11:01 pm – Drayton Valley – 55 Street – Complainant reporting a family dispute. Family member has broken their two televisions and punched a hole in their wall. Intoxicated. Members attended and arrested male who was taken to the detachment and released when sober.

June 15

12:41 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a black truck had pulled into the parking lot sideways. 20-minute time delay in receiving the call.

6:22 am – Drayton Valley – Eldorado School – Complainant reporting a break and enter to the school overnight. Rock had been thrown through the window, several items stolen. Some items were recovered in bush behind school.

7:43 am – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complainant requesting members attend to remove an unwanted male.

11:01 am – Drayton Valley – 55 Avenue – Complainant reporting a family dispute, can hear yelling and the sound of things breaking. Members attended, no sign of damage, argument over homework.

11:20 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a female with short blonde hair is damaging the air conditioning unit on the outside of the building. Members attended and located known female who left when asked to. No damage to air conditioner unit.

12:01 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 759 – Complainant reporting an abandoned vehicle. Black 2016 Hyundai Sonata is parked in the ditch near their driveway. Member attended and contacted the registered owner who advised they had parked there as they had got stuck.

1:50 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – Complainant reporting a grey Intrepid with 2 flat tires blew past them. Vehicle then abandoned around the corner. Vehicle not stolen. Driver known. Matter still under investigation.

2:37 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant attended the RCMP detachment to report an assault which had occurred in Calgary approximately 1 month ago. Member took a statement.

4:42 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting someone broke into their car and stole several items including their wallet and iPad. All items were located a short distance away. Possible suspect.

5:20 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant advised police of a domestic situation. Members attended, male arrested and charged for uttering threats and held for a bail hearing.

7:19 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting suspicious activity. Male on a bicycle is looking through a white western semi-truck parked. Male is wearing dark clothing. Member attended and located known male who advised the owner had hired them to fix up the truck.

9:50 pm – Drayton Valley – Pleasantview Trailer court – Complainant reporting someone living in their vehicle with a child. Member attended and queried the vehicle. Owner lives in the trailer park.

11:17 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant calling to report hearing a gunshot. Members attended and spoke to the occupants of the house working in the garage. Admitted to shooting a firework.

11:58 pm – Drayton Valley – Hillcrest Manor – Complainant reporting a male is in the parking lot rummaging through a vehicle. Members attended and located known male who advised they were buying the vehicle. This was confirmed with the owner of the vehicle.

June 16

4:37 am – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant calling from the MAT program advising that known male who has been banned from the program is once again there wanting to come inside. Member attended. Male had left.

10:03 am – Drayton Valley – Canadian Tire Parking Lot – Complainant reporting a hit and run to their bronze 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse while parked. Damage to the front bumper.

10:06 am – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Complainant reporting trespassers overnight. Complainant’s dog scared them off, break-in tool left behind. Suspects were digging behind the complainant’s garage. Nothing taken or broken.

12:25 pm – Drayton Valley – Landfill – Complainant reporting known female is rummaging around. Member attended and arrested known female on outstanding warrant. Female held for a bail hearing.

3:35 pm – Drayton Valley – Wal Mart – Complainant reporting intoxicated male causing issues. Members attended, known male was trying to return and exchange a TV he had bought and would not take no for an answer. Male left when requested to do so.

4:56 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Member on patrol attempted a traffic stop on a known male. Male fled then ran on foot out of a moving vehicle. Male located under a nearby trailer in an alley. Vehicle was unregistered and uninsured. Driver, known male, is suspended from driving. Several grams of methamphetamine located in vehicle. Vehicle towed and driver held for a bail hearing.

5:12 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a vacuum truck came off a gravel road onto the pavement, large rocks came off the truck and damaged windshield.

8:31 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Members on patrol located a stolen 1999 red Dodge Durango truck in the parking lot by the Petro Canada. Vehicle had been reported stolen on June 5 from Drayton Valley.

8:44 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for expired licence plate.

8:47 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant calling to report a fraud. They drove to Drayton Valley to purchase a vehicle. Vehicles odometer had been set back 200,000 km. Complainant got their money back but has noticed that it is once again being advertised with fraudulent mileage. Vehicle is a blue 2006 GMC Sierra Truck.

9:27 pm – Drayton Valley – 48 Avenue – Complainant reporting a suspicious female in the back alley. Female is stumbling around carrying a plastic spoon. Members attended location and arrested female for being intoxicated in public. Taken to the detachment where she was released when sober.

9:34 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting an intoxicated driver in a black Mazda. Vehicle is swerving all over the road. Members attended area and made patrols. Vehicle and driver located later on at the Omniplex parking lot. Member attempted a traffic stop, vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. Vehicle stopped on RR 71. Driver arrested and charged with impaired by drugs, flight from police, dangerous operation of vehicle, no insurance, no registration, possession of stolen property. Male held for a hearing.

9:38 pm – Brazeau County – RR 65 – Complainant reporting vandalism to son’s camping trailer over the past 4 days.

9:41 pm – Drayton Valley – Landfill – Member on patrol located known male in bushes near the landfill. Male arrested for outstanding warrant, altercation ensued. Male held for a bail hearing.

10:26 pm – Drayton Valley – 55 Avenue – Complainant reporting homeless people pulling on the door handle at an abandoned residence. Subjects left towards Dairy Queen. Members attended, place secured, no damage. Subjects not located.

10:39 pm – Drayton Valley – Pleasantview Trailer court – Alarm at residence. Member attended and spoke to the occupants who advised they punched in the wrong code.

11:24 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Street – Complainant reporting threats received over a parking spot. Complainant asked person to move and they told them they were going to drop them. Suspect vehicle is a white Honda Civic, male with a baseball cap is driving. Member patrolled the area, vehicle not located.

June 17

3:59 am – Drayton Valley – McDonalds – Complainant reporting a single-vehicle collision. Male driver is stuck in the ditch. Vehicle is a grey older model Jeep type vehicle.

7:48 am – Parkland County – Hwy 759 – Complainant reporting a deceased moose in the northbound lane, partially blocking the lane. Member attended, animal moved.

8:06 am – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant calling to report unwanted male at MAT program. Male has been suspended. Member attended, known male left without issue.

9:16 am – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting harassment on Facebook. Harassment stems from their opinion posted on Facebook. Member advised them to block others on Facebook.

9:25 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant calling to report known male is causing issues wanting to fight. Member attended residence, male had already left. Patrols in area made, male not located.

9:30 am – Rocky Rapids – Complainant calling to report a disturbance. Male is in a white pickup truck and breaking things. Male and female heard yelling. Male left the yard at a high rate of speed. Members located male who was upset over child custody issue. Male was arrested and resisted arrest, kicked police vehicle, door damaged. Male charged and held for bail hearing.

12:35 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting somebody is accusing them of supporting racism based on an email that one of their employees had sent several years ago. Member advised to block person.

1:48 pm – Drayton Valley – 35 Street – Complainant reporting they were travelling south on 35 Street when a deer ran out in front of their vehicle and collided with the front driver’s side.

3:15 pm – Brazeau County – RR 85 – Complainant reporting an abandoned Uhaul trailer on a lease site. Trailer towed.

3:26 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting they left their backpack outside of 7-11 and forgot it. Bag contained wallet, keys, sunglasses, and jacket. The backpack is a black Thule with a strap on the front that closes the flap.

4:15 pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant requesting members conduct wellbeing check on son. Members attended location, EMS took male to hospital as he was in need of medication.

5:10 pm – Drayton Valley – 48 Avenue – Complainant reporting a suspicious male checking vehicle door handles. Male has medium length blonde hair and is wearing a long black coat, blue jeans, and carrying a dark backpack.

7:24 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a black 4 door truck with a push bumper is hauling a flatbed trailer. The load isn’t strapped down and as a result a fence post almost went through complainant’s truck. Member located vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Driver advised they did not know it was loose. Member assisted driver with securing the load, then followed them home to ensure nothing further came off.

7:33 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant attended detachment to discuss custody situation with member. Complainants ex is refusing to give their child back. No custody order in place. Advised to go through proper channels to obtain custody order which will outline specifics.

7:39 pm – Brazeau County – 911 open line, buzzing and beeping heard in the background. Ongoing issue with phone line.

9:46 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting two males are doing heroin behind the 7-11. Males left prior to arrival.

11:02 pm – Drayton Valley – OCT – Complainant reporting people fighting. All are intoxicated. Members attended, those involved had left. Descriptions provided by witnesses. Members located one person.

11:54 pm – Brazeau County – 911 open line, ongoing issue.

June 18

12:25 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – 911 hangup. On callback, intoxicated female advised there was a male in the residence that was annoying and wanted them removed. Members attended and spoke with the complainant. Male had left, members unable to locate male.

7:48 am – Drayton Valley – IGA Parking lot – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle. A dark grey jeep has been running in the parking lot since 6 am, male is inside. Members attended, male sleeping in vehicle. No issues.
