Innisfail RCMP track fleeing suspect to Springbrook

Mounties are sharing a few details on what led to a large police presence Tuesday afternoon in Springbrook.

RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS) was called out after Innisfail Mounties began looking for the driver of a vehicle that fled from an RCMP member.

An RCMP spokesperson says the male suspect was eventually contained to Springbrook. Police located and towed his vehicle, but the suspect himself was not apprehended.

Police says they plan to follow up with the suspect.
