January 30

8:42 am – Drayton Valley – McDonalds – Complainant calling to report a suspicious female has been in the bathroom for the past two hours. Members attended and located known female who was high on drugs and had a warrant for her arrest. 24-year-old Jodanna Robinson was arrested for outstanding warrants.

8:47 am – Drayton Valley – Home Away Inn – Complainant calling to report there are two guests who are intoxicated and need to be removed. Subjects left prior to police arrival. Members patrolled area with negative results.

9:45 am – Brazeau County – Country Style Trailer Court – Complainant calling to report the back window on their 2014 Red Dodge Journey was broken. Nothing stolen.

12:00 noon – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting theft of copper wire approximately 80 feet valued at $1000.00 from open lease site.

12:55 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant calling to report a historical sexual assault.

2:06 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting they found a suspicious substance in a contact lens case near mailbox on the ground. Member attended and seized items.

3:31 pm – Drayton Valley – TD Bank – Complainant calling to report their elderly father has been a victim of cheque fraud totaling $8780.00 from 7 different cheques.

5:05 pm – Brazeau County – Birchwood Village Green – 911 Abandoned call received. On callback was advised daughter was playing with the phone. Address confirmed. Member attended location, no emergency.

5:21 pm – Drayton Valley – 55 Avenue – Complainant advised member of a white Dodge pickup behind 55 Avenue with two occupants. Male is tearing into garbage bags, female is sitting in the truck. Male is thin with a black jacket with grey shoulders and a red ball cap. Member attended and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. Vehicle took off and refused to stop, headed north on Hwy 22.

5:36 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting an erratic driver. Vehicle is a blue sedan, pulling into oncoming traffic and turned left in front of everyone at a stoplight.

6:05 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complaint reporting a female yelling “get out of my car” to known male. Lots of yelling. Members attended, male detained for assault. Both parties spoken to and stated an argument turned physical. Male arrested.

6:14 pm – Drayton Valley – Western Trailer Court – Complainant reporting a suspicious male in the trailer park. Known male is going through yards in the trailer park.

6:52 pm – Tomahawk area – Complainant requesting assistance. Members attended along with EMS. Complainant taken to local hospital.

January 31

12:49 am – Lodgepole Hwy – Complainant reporting a dead deer in the driving lane. Had to swerve to miss it. Member attended and located the deer and moved it into the ditch.

12:51 am – Drayton Valley – Power Centre Blvd. – Commercial alarm went off. Complainant attended and located 2 males and 1 female going through the garbage bins. Complainant has vehicle blocked in. Members attended and located known individuals. No forced entry to premises. Known persons were collecting garbage from the bin. Member verbally warned them of trespassing.

1:26 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a white pick up truck with bright white lights passed them and threw something at them because the complainant flashed their lights at them. Whatever was thrown cracked the window on their semi-truck on the driver’s side.

7:20 am – Drayton Valley – Industrial road – Complainant calling to report theft of their Black Dodge Ram 1500. Vehicle had a white skidoo with wood rack on the back.

8:03 am – Brazeau County – RR 85 – Driving complaint, report of someone driving without a license. Not willing to provide a statement. Patrols made, unable to locate the vehicle.

8:32 am – Drayton Valley – 55 Street – Theft of a white Peterbilt semi-tractor with flat deck trailer loaded with a John Deer 450J dozer was stolen from a business. Surveillance video showed the theft occurred at approximately 2:33 am.

9:00 am – Drayton Valley – 55 Street – While investigating the previous complaint, a neighboring business owner advised police that their yard was also entered overnight. Copper wire was cut and removed from a vehicle.

10:53 am – Drayton Valley – Independent Grocery – Hit and run in the parking lot. Around 9:00 am the complainant’s vehicle was hit damaging the mirror of the vehicle.

11:12 am – Drayton Valley – 54 Street – Report of two suspicious males in the back alley who asked if they could shovel the sidewalk which was already shoveled. Both males are approximately 40 years old, one is wearing a black toque the other is wearing sunglasses. Both wearing black jackets and jeans with colourful backpacks. Members attended area, males had left prior to arrival. Patrols negative.

12:52 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Street – 3rd party report of an assault that had just occurred. Members attended, tenants were moving out of a residence and the landlord slipped on some ice and accidentally hit one of them. No charges.

12:56 am – Drayton Valley – 55 Avenue – Report of an unsecured premises for two days. Members attended. Garage door was open, house was checked and unoccupied, no signs of forced entry. Owner advised.

2:06 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of a possible impaired driver. 3 hours prior a customer came into a business and left their license plate behind. Unable to follow up on impaired investigation due to a lengthy time difference.

2:30 pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Stolen 2001 white Dodge Ram, Alberta license plate BBK-0050, from the parking lot. Surveillance reviewed, actual theft occurred around 9:40 am, a silver Dodge Ram dually can be seen pulling up next to the stolen vehicle and both vehicles drive away a few minutes later.

2:33 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – 2 vehicle collision between a logging truck and a car. Minor damage to the mirror of the car, no damage to the truck and no injuries.

3:03 pm – Brazeau County – Lease site – In the past 5 days, a grader had the wires cut, and two batteries were stolen from a lease site. No evidence left behind.

4:26 pm – Brazeau County – Elk River Road – Abandoned truck with a dog inside between Hwy 620 and the Peco Inn. Member attended and made patrols in the area all the way to the Peco Inn, no vehicle was located.

4:46 pm – Drayton Valley – 55 Street – Complainant reported power cords were cut and removed from a vehicle. Worth approximately $2500.

6:01 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – 911 reporting a banned person is at the business. Members attended, the person had already left without incident.

7:38 pm – Brazeau County – RR 73 – Driving complaint, erratic speeds, unable to maintain lane. Members attended and located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was issued a 24-hour driving suspension and the vehicle was towed.

8:11 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 759 – Collision between a moose and two different vehicles. The first vehicle struck the moose, and the second vehicle traveling in the opposite direction struck the moose afterward as well. Minimal/no damage to the second vehicle. The first vehicle was towed. No injuries to the occupants of either vehicle.

11:25 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street/50 Avenue – A suspended driver was located by police. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was issued a ticket for operating a vehicle while unauthorized.

February 1

5:38 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop, male charged with driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle. Vehicle towed.

6:05 am – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Multiple hits to the alarm. Member attended, curling tournament going on that day and event organizers had been given a key so arrived early to set up but were not given the code to deactivate the alarm.

7:07 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Vehicle window smashed overnight on their 2017 Grey Toyota Corolla. Change, shoes, and keys were stolen from inside.

7:26 am – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Vehicle window smashed overnight on their 2004 black Kia Sedona. Change stolen from inside.

8:23 am – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Attempted theft of a vehicle. Vehicle broken into overnight and tampered with, in an attempt to start it. Ignition damaged to the point that it is unable to be started with the key.

9:04 am – Brazeau County – RR 73 – Suspicious vehicle abandoned on a lease site. Members attended and located a white Chevrolet Diesel Extended Cab. Determined that the vehicle had been stolen overnight in Leduc.

1:40 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Attempted theft of vehicle. Ignition was punched out and vehicle was left unlocked. Owner advised that the vehicle is broken down and has no battery and wouldn’t have been able to start.

1:45 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting a hit and run to their Silver 2015 Kia Forte while parked in the parking lot. Suspect vehicle is a Black Dodge Truck.

2:20 pm – Drayton Valley – Walmart – Vandalism to vehicle while parked. Sometime in the past hour someone keyed the complainant’s Black 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Damage down the passenger side.

3:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Police were called to a domestic incident. A male was arrested and charged with assault.

7:38 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Red 2010 Jeep Wrangler stolen between 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The vehicle was later located by Breton RCMP on fire. When they notified the owner, they were unaware that it was missing.

8:43 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Suspicious male inside a business, seemed out of it, has been there for about an hour. Male wearing very baggy black clothing. Members attended, the male had left prior to police arriving. Members patrolled the area but were unable to locate the male.

10:00 pm – Drayton Valley – Boston Pizza – Theft from vehicle. Sometime overnight, a vehicle was broken into in the parking lot and several items stolen including change, an Oakley backpack, radar detector, and clothing.

February 2

12:51 am – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Police were called to check on the welfare of the caller’s neighbour. The door was open and all the lights were off in the house and the dog was running on the road. Police arrived and spoke with the owner of the house, the wind had blown the door open and the dog must have run out. The dog was located and the owner was able to secure the door.

3:57 am – Drayton Valley – 48 Avenue – Report of a male in their 20’s, trying door handles on vehicles. Male wearing a hat and plaid grey coat. Members attended and made extensive patrols of the area. Nobody was located.

8:51 am – Drayton Valley – Hospital – 911 hang-up from the hospital. No emergency. An ongoing problem with persons trying to dial out.

9:05 am – Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Complainant reporting window smashed overnight on their 2007 Gold GMC Yukon, old cellphone stolen from inside.

9:34 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting both passenger windows broken on their 2007 Burgundy GMC Sierra 1500. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

10:10 am – Drayton Valley – 45 Street – Complainant reporting the passenger window to their 2018 silver GMC Sierra was broken sometime overnight. Dewalt Drill, impact driver and Milwaukee backpack containing various tools and FLUKE multimeter and AMP Clamp stolen.

11:11 am – Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Complainant reporting their Orange 2008 Chevrolet Colorado was broken into sometime overnight. Window broken, tools, charging station, flashlight and hand torch stolen.

2:29 PM – Drayton Valley – 45 Street – Members on patrol observed a 2018 white GMC Sierra with a broken window. Member contacted owner. Nothing taken.

2:57 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting a break and enter to the Telus Cell tower. Suspects gained entry by cutting through 2 fences. Once inside, they stole copper wire.

4:11 pm – Drayton Valley – Behind Dodson Plaza – Complainant reporting 5 young males are throwing sticks down the sewer drain. Members attended, kids were sledding and advised they threw snow down the drain.

4:42 pm – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Complainant reporting the driver’s side window on their 2019 Grey Dodge Ram truck was broken overnight. Stolen was a laptop bag with an ACER laptop, Samsung tablet, a Samsung phone, and a wallet.

6:47 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Complainant reporting their vehicle was broken into overnight.

11:07 pm – Drayton Valley – 56 Avenue – Complainant reporting their 2001 Blue F-250 with Saskatchewan plates was stolen from the Theater parking lot. Vehicle found abandoned on RR 71.

11:34 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Family dispute. Members attended, female arrested for assault.

February 3

1:41 am – Drayton Valley – Eldorado School – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle. 2 males in a Black Chevrolet Truck with a lift kit parked in front of school. Members attended, vehicle gone. Patrols negative.

6:24 am – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Complainant reporting a disturbance. Son has been up yelling all night. Members attended adult son removed.

9:05 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 759 – Complainant attended detachment to report they hit a moose while traveling north on Hwy 759.

9:13 am – Drayton valley – 57 Street – Complainant reporting a Break and Enter to their yard. Someone cut a hole in the fence on the north side of the yard, once inside they proceeded to check vehicle doors. They took wire and hauled it through the hole, they also unhooked the propane tank from the BBQ. They then checked the back door, set off an audible alarm, grabbed the propane tank and left south down the alley.

10:41 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant calling to report they found 2 propane tanks hidden under a spruce tree. Members attended and seized propane tanks.

10:59 am – Drayton Valley – Madsen Avenue – 911 hangup received. Member attended, no emergency, ongoing issue.

12:12 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting the window on their 2005 GMC Sierra was broken. Nothing taken.

1:29 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting a suspicious 2-tone Hyundai in the early morning hours, approximately 630 am driving erratically. Driver avoids the traffic lights by veering into Fas Gas, then speeds and cuts off drivers onto Hwy 22.

2:57 pm – Drayton Valley – 43 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft from their Red 2010 Ford F-150 overnight. Drivers window broken, and ammunition, knife, gloves, goggles and money were stolen.

4:21 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting identity theft.

4:40 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Complainant reporting fraud. They were contacted by a loan company asking for details regarding their bank account. Complainant provided details and the company asked for Google play cards.

7:59 pm – Brazeau County – Country Style Trailer Court – Complainant reporting suspicious males with face masks were walking down the back alley headed down the hill. One male with a bike and wagon. Members attended area, males were not located.

11:42 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle behind the post office driving without any lights on. Looks like a Jeep. Members made patrols of area, vehicle not located.

February 4

3:26 am – Brazeau County – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver charged with failure to provide financial responsibility card.

4:57 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting a suspicious male in a locked compound. Male was observed opening the door on one of the parked vehicles. Male climbed over the fence and has a bag. Member attended and patrolled area, footprints followed, not located.

8:33 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a break and enter overnight to shed. Nothing taken.

11:29 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting the driver’s side window on their 1998 ford F-250 was broken. Vehicle had been gone through, nothing missing.

12:03 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 759 – Complainant reporting they were traveling southbound on Hwy 759 when they struck a moose.

1:35 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a break and enter to Oil battery site. Fence was cut and the locks off 5 C-cans were cut off. Ground wire and cables were cut. Suspects stole approximately 40 deep cycle batteries.

2:40 pm – Brazeau County – Poplar Ridge Trailer Court – Complainant calling to request police assistance with gathering their belongings.

4:02 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Street – Complainant calling to report a black jeep with the hatch open and luggage inside. Member attended, vehicle not located.

5:55 pm – Drayton Valley – 56 Street – Complainant reporting an abandoned snowmobile, across from Boston Pizza. Snowmobile is orange, red and white. Member attended and located snowmobile and a male nearby. Snowmobile had broken down. Not stolen.

6:49 pm – Tomahawk – Complainant reporting a breach of a court order. Ex has a restraining order of no contact. Member attended and located ex.

8:35 pm – Drayton Valley – 43 Avenue – Request members attend and serve an Emergency Protection Order. Member attended location and order served.

February 5

12:51 am – Drayton Valley – Scotia Bank – Complainant reporting suspicious persons on bicycles checking out vehicles in area. Both are in dark clothing, male and female. Male pulling a small trailer. Member attended area and located persons.

3:18 am – Drayton Valley – Carlton East – 911 abandoned call, female heard crying, then hung up. Members attended. Female arrested for breach of no contact conditions, and a male arrested for assaulting a male not involved in the original call for service.

4:55 am – Drayton Valley – 57 Street – Members on patrol located a Ford Truck exiting the back alley at Royal Inn and Suites. Vehicle not reported stolen. Members followed vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. Vehicle fled, members followed and located vehicle abandoned near Buck Creek. Police Dog Services attended, male located and arrested. 23-year-old Louis-Lee LAMOUCHE arrested and charged with Break and enter, Theft of motor vehicle over $5000, Flight from Police and 7 breach of condition charges.

5:59 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – Complainant reporting someone rammed the gates and broke into a site and stole fuel from the diesel tanks. Locks were unbolted from the tanks and locks left behind. Related to stolen vehicle

6:31 – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a possible impaired driver in a silver Chevrolet Impala. Male driver is swerving and driving very slowly.

7:16 am – Drayton Valley – Industrial Road – Complainant reporting a break and enter to their yard. Once inside suspects stole a 2008 White Dodge 2500.

8:03 am – Drayton valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft from vehicle overnight. The passenger side window was broken on their 2018 Chevrolet High Country, and money and lottery tickets were taken.

12:08 pm – Drayton Valley – 39 Street – Complainant reporting a fraud. Friend asked them to help them deposit a cheque as they did not have a bank account. They did so and the cheque was fraudulent. The bank has now canceled all of their online access.

1:49 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting they hit a deer while driving north on Hwy 22.

2:05 pm – Brazeau County – Poplar Ridge Trailer Court – Complainant request assistance with retrieving their belongings.

2:24 pm – Drayton Valley – Canada Post – Complainant reporting theft of mail prior to reaching destination.

2:21 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Complainant reporting suspicious person between 44 Street and 45 Street in the back alley. Member patrolled the area, no one located.

2:57 pm – Parkland County – Complainant reporting an erratic driver in a wine coloured minivan with flags sticking out of the roof. Driver was driving against traffic and put complainant into the ditch.

3:32 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting a client is causing a disturbance. The male client has no identification and therefore no funds were going to be released. He is very upset. Members attended, male had left.

4:40 pm – Brazeau County – RR 80 – 911 hangup received from female caller. On callback, female advised that their 11-year-old son was having a tantrum. Son had dialed 911. All is fine.

9:18 pm – Drayton Valley – Carleton East – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Ticket for Unauthorized licence plate on motor vehicle issued.

9:47 pm – Drayton Valley – Derrick Lounge – Member on patrol observed known female outside. Female known to have an outstanding warrant out of Edmonton. Female arrested.

10:20 pm – Drayton Valley – RR 73 – Complainant reporting a suspicious older model Chevrolet half-ton truck. Vehicle is backed up to the doors of general store. Member attended and located vehicle and occupant. Occupant is living in a trailer on the property.

11:54 pm – Drayton Valley – Wester Trailer Court – Complainant reporting a Break and Enter to their residence. Entry made by pulling the rear window out, trail camera and construction material taken. Complainant does have a suspect.

February 6

6:34 am – Drayton Valley – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a 2 vehicle motor vehicle collision. A black truck was pushed into a light pole by a white truck. Members attended along with EMS.

7:11 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a ticket for turning left in unsafe manner.
