More stars announced for NHL Legends of Toronto charity game

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Red Deer and District and Boys & Girls Club of Red Deer and District is excited to announce the next round of former Toronto Maple Leafs players joining the NHL Legends of Toronto hockey team on March 15, 2020 at the Westerner Park Centrium..

Alongside Al Iafrete, Andrew Raycroft, and Colton Orr, we’re excited to announce Gary Leeman, Tiger Williams, and Jamie Macoun will also be joining the team roster.

Youth HQ is still looking for four players and one goalie to play on the Red Deer Dream Team, hockey enthusiasts pledging to play and ultimately raising money for two great causes.

We’re also excited to introduce the Novice Hockey Challenge! We’re inviting 60 novice-aged youth (age 5-8) to suit up and skate alongside the Legends of Toronto in between periods during the NHL Legends of Toronto Charity Hockey Game. Participant fee is $50 and includes a child admission ticket into the NHL Legends of Toronto Charity Hockey Game. Registration is available online at legendsoftoronto.com.

VIP ticket packages are available for the game, which include the opportunity to meet Legends of Toronto players between periods and attend a post-game banquet hosted by the Black Knight Inn. The banquet will feature dinner, live auction, and more – coming full circle and making it a night to remember for any hockey fan! Game tickets start at $15 for youth and $25 for adults. Tickets are available online or in person through Tickets Alberta.
