Renegades score medals at Outdoor Classic Tournament

The Red Deer Renegades Soccer Club is celebrating an impressive medal haul after the Red Deer City Soccer Association hosted its 35th Annual July Classic Outdoor Tournament over the weekend.

Roughly 65 teams from across the province attended, including 13 local Renegades and Junior Renegades teams, with all games played at McLean Park and Edgar Athletic Park in Red Deer.

The U13 Boys Renegades earned a bronze medal for their efforts at the 35th Annual July Classic Outdoor Tournament.

Renegade medal winners include the U15 Girls who won gold in Tier 3, while the U13 T1 Girls took home silver by playing in the U15 Girls T3 division.

Other Renegade silver medal winners include the U11 Girls in the T1/2 division and the U10 Boys Jr. Renegades who competed in the U11 Boys Tier 3 division.

Bronze medals were awarded to the Renegades U19 Boys Red Deer Tournament Team, U13 Boys Tier 1/2, U12 Boys T1, U11 Boys T1, U11 Boys T2 and U10 Boys Jr. Renegades who competed in the U11 Boys T3 division.

Honourable mentions go out to the U12 Girls who finished fourth in the U11 Boys Tier 1 division and U10 Girls Jr. Renegades who competed in the U11 Girls T3 division and also finished fourth. The U12 Boys Tier 2 finished fifth in their division.
