EDMONTON – Alberta’s Opposition leader says a United Conservative government would seek to cut the bureaucracy that runs the health system.
Jason Kenney says privately delivered care on minor medical procedures is improving wait times in other jurisdictions.
He says any changes would still be provided for and funded under the public health system.
Kenney made the comments as he revealed the broad strokes of his party’s health policy ahead of the spring election.
