Penhold Fire responds to blaze in basement of single family home

Penhold Fire crews had to put out a dangerous house fire on Friday afternoon.

Crews responded around 3 p.m. to the blaze at the single family home on Bouteiller Close

“We initiated an aggressive interior fire attack and crews had the fire under control very quickly,” says acting Fire Lieutenant Quinlan Parson.

This fire was particularly dangerous, he says, because it was in the basement and near the furnace and water heater.
