Red Deer RCMP is encouraging residents to subscribe to the RAVE Mobile Safety feature of the Alberta RCMP mobile app.
“RAVE is a mass notification system that makes staying informed about local crime and traffic advisories easier than ever,” a release states.
“RAVE is a web-based platform that serves to enhance the community’s safety and crime prevention efforts. RAVE allows the Alberta RCMP and Red Deer RCMP to fan out real-time non-emergency alerts and trusted information.”
