Lacombe taking aim at unsightly properties
The City of Lacombe and Lacombe Police are setting their sights on unsightly premises this fall.
The increased attention is in accordance with City bylaws and the 2018-2021 Strategic Plan.
Cleaning-up of long-standing, problematic properties began this weekend. Impacted properties have been notified of the City’s attempt to bring them into compliance.
“The vast majority of homes in Lacombe are well-maintained and show pride of ownership, and this shows why Lacombe is known as one of the top five places to live in Canada,” says Mayor Grant Creasey. “However, there are a very small number of properties that need to be brought in line with community expectations.”
