Clearwater County has received a clean audit.
Phil Dirks of Metrix Group, Chartered Professional Accountants says not only were the county’s records well looked after, but noted it had below-average debt.
The county’s reserves increased by nearly 8 million dollars in 2018, and long-term debt is decreasing due to consistent payments.
There were no difficulties during the audit, Dirks notes, and the spending habits of the county are moderate and comparable to other municipalities of a similar size.
