Diabetes Canada seeking the public’s assistance for donations
The reusable goods donation program through Diabetes Canada is once again seeking the public’s assistance.
They are looking for donations of gently used clothing and household items in the Red Deer Area.
Proceeds from donations support diabetes research, education programs, services and advocacy for the 11 million Canadians living with diabetes or prediabetes.
More than 100 million pounds of clothing are diverted from landfills annually thanks to Diabetes Canada. In this way, donations not only benefit those living with diabetes or prediabetes, but also the environment.
