Annual XPlore Sport day taking place this weekend

For families looking to get out, get active, or get involved, the XPlore Sport Day is happening this Saturday at the GH Dawe Community Centre.

The day is centred around getting involved in new sports for all ages and experience levels. The event offers trials of more than a dozen different sports available for participation in the City of Red Deer.

Organizers for the event say it’s a great way to meet local athletes and coaches and learn more about their sport while being able to get engaged and try them yourself.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday September 9th. Regular operations of the GH Dawe Community Centre, including the fitness drop-in and swimming pool, will not be available while XPlore Sports Day is taking place.
