Wiklund vs. Wiklund win Red Deer Artist of the Year honours

Melody and Dan Wiklund, the married couple better known as Wiklund vs. Wiklund, were the big winners at the Red Deer Entertainment Awards.

They took home Artist/Group of the Year honours at the third annual event held Saturday night at Bo’s Bar and Stage.

Randi Boulton won Singer/Songwriter of the Year.

Achievement Award: Nolan Nicoll – The Velvet Olive

Red Deer Scene Award: Carl Stretton

Social Contribution Award: LV’s Vinyl Cafe – Lisa Spencer-Cook

Awards were also presented to the Central Alberta Film Festival and Red Deer Arts Council.
