Major Crimes unit investigating death in Wetaskiwin County

WETASKIWIN- RCMP Major Crime South continues to investigate the death of a 40-year-old Wetaskiwin man.

Around 1 a.m. Sunday officers were dispatched to the area of Range Road 243-A and Township Road 473 and discovered his body.

An autopsy was conducted on Tuesday at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton and determined the cause of death was homicide.

No further details have been released.
